40多年了, we have actively participated in the evolution of the relationship between 土著 communities 和 industry. 在那个时候, we have learned a great deal from the relationships we have built 和 the conversations we have had. We are so grateful to the 土著 communities 和 their leaders who have been generous with their time, open with their perspectives 和 respectful when these perspectives differ.

We will work with 土著 leaders across our footprint to establish an 土著咨询委员会 that will provide advice to our executive leadership team 和 help guide our reconciliation efforts. We targeted having an approach for an advisory council in place by Q4 of 2021.

Complete: An 土著咨询委员会 (the Council) was established in December 2021 with leaders representing 土著 interests across Canada. 目前, the Council includes three 土著 leaders who bring diverse perspectives 和 extensive experience to the table. Recruitment continues for additional members to complement the skills 和 accomplishments of the Council. The Council meets with our executive leadership team twice a year 和 provides guidance on initiatives 和 co-creates solutions to progress reconciliation priorities with 土著 groups.
